2025 Life Members Trophy – Results & Recap

The Life Members Trophy is always a very special day on the Mornington Golf Club calendar, and the 2025 edition was no exception. With perfect weather, great food, and fantastic company, the day was a true celebration of golf and club spirit.

We enjoyed a glorious day at Mornington Golf Club for the 2025 Charity Day, raising much-needed funds for Women’s Community Shelters. Over 130 ladies teed off in beautiful conditions, sharing laughter and camaraderie out on the course.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and spirit of everyone involved, we raised over $20,000 for this vital cause — a truly outstanding achievement!

A huge congratulations to the Women’s Charity Day Organising Committee, led by our dedicated Women’s Vice Captain, Janine Bone. The event’s success would not have been possible without the enthusiastic participation of the players, the tireless work of our volunteers, the generosity of our donors and sponsors, and the support of our Pro, Michael Faraone.

It was a brilliantly run event and a fantastic day all around. Well done, everyone!

The Private Sea Wellness Centre have been sponsoring Men’s and Women’s event over the last few months.  They have now become a Driveway Sponsor which is fantastic to see

After 7 rounds of Twilight 9’s competition,  congratulations to Paul Cutting who has come out on top to win the Tar Barrel Twilight 9’s competition. 

Paul was leading going into the final round on Friday 4 April was able to hold on and win by 2 shots from a host of members bunched up behind.

The Open Championship draw was conducted in the Spike Bar on Friday 4 April at 5.30pm in front of a packed crowd.

The winners of the trip to the Open in July worth $20K was the Punters Club 20 Syndicate.
